Compulsory subscribtion at the tourist Office fridays & saturdays before the week of activities.
Child-minding is possible every wednesdays & fridays for lunch. (Please bring a Picnic)
Required documents for subscribtion :
- Medical certificate attesting the ability of children to do sport
- For the swimming pool "50 meters swimming certificate" it may be taken at the Leisure Centre
- Please bring your health record to fill in the medical form

First international Chess Festival
In 2010, the Chess Festival leaves Val-Thorens and moves to Vaujany, 50 kms south of Grenoble, in the wonderful Oisans mountain range. We invite you to visit our web site and discover the program and many other useful informations. Some parts of our web site are currently in french, but for most important ones an english version is available. Titled players (MI/GMI) who wish to be invited should have a look at the "Invitations" section and contact the organisers since only a limited number of titled players can be invited.
Practical informations
Accomodations: Vaujany offers a wide range of accomodations (Hotel, furnished studios or appartments). Please visit the Vaujany tourist office web site or call the tourist office at +33 4 76 807 237.

How to come to Vaujany: Coming to Vaujany is easy. You can arrive by train at the Grenoble SNCF station and then take a bus to Vaujany from the close by bus station. The tourist office can help you to organize your transfer to Vaujany if you are a group. The scenic drive from Grenoble to Vaujany along the Romanche river is a pleasure when the weather is nice.
If you arrive by plane, Lyon St Exupery is the closest airport. You can also land at Paris Orly or Charles de Gaule airports or at Geneva Cointrin Airport and then take a TGV or a train to GRENOBLE.
