Marie-Claude Turc ran "La Cordée" for 25 years, a hotel restaurant founded by her grandparents in 1907 in Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans, in the upper Vénéon valley. At the end of the film, meeting and exchange with the director Johan Andrieux. Reservation required.

The life of a whole mountain microcosm revolves around this Lady of the Oisans and her business, which is classified as a “Historical and Heritage Café of Europe”. Today, she has handed over the reins and can finally rediscover the mountain that her clients, guides and tourists, used to tell her about when they stopped by. We follow Marie-Claude on her hikes to the Lavey refuge, to the home of Jean-Marc Rochette, a painter and comic book author, to Pierre Calame’s sheepfold in the Lanchâtra valley. We attend the Vénéon valley guides’ festival with the blessing of the ice axes at La Bérarde.
