Screening of the film “Zanskar: les promesses de l’hiver”. At the foot of the Himalayas, a small community of Buddhist nuns live cut off from the world during the long months of winter. For a long time there were eleven or twelve of them, but now there are thirteen. Thirteen nuns practicing Tibetan Buddhism who, through their prayers, watch over souls from the village of Tungri, in Zanskar, the most landlocked province of northern India, at the foot of the Great Himalayan Barrier. At the end of the film, meet and chat with Emmanuel ARMAND, involved in the Nunnery project in Zanskar.
