Gospel concert

To celebrate its ten years of existence, Gospel Move has chosen to organise an exceptional concert in Oisans with two renowned choirmasters Loic Geffray (from Toulouse) and Malik Young (from Paris) around great gospel, soul, negro-spiritual and original compositions.

The repertoire consists of both revisited gospel standards, negro spirituals, soul and blues, as well as more innovative pieces written and composed by the choirmasters.
Currently two choirmasters are involved in Gospel Move:
Loïc Geffray, singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and choirmaster.
He has a wealth of musical experience in various ensembles ranging from rock to reggae, from French chanson to gypsy jazz. He is currently directing several choirs: “One Heart Gospel” (Tournefeuille-31), and “Gospel Move” (Grenoble-38)
Malik Young, between New York, his native city, and Paris, Malik has performed in numerous musicals. After having collaborated with the greatest artists such as Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin or Mariah Carey, … Malik Young is the artistic director of the famous Gospel for 100 voices. The hundred singers and musicians of the show Gospel pour 100 voix have been hugely successful and have toured all over Europe (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Spain) for monumental concerts.
