Solar observation with a telescope and solar filter.
Get ready for a unique experience as part of the solar eclipse on August 12! During the day, we will turn our gaze to our closest star — the Sun — and discover its fascinating secrets. Using a telescope equipped with a special filter and a solarscope, we will observe the Sun safely. With a bit of luck, we may even be able to see sunspots! We will also explore how a sundial works. By using our own shadow, we will discover how light helps us understand time passing. An engaging and educational activity for curious explorers of all ages.
